Add a simple segment in your analytics that tags sessions matching agent behavioral patterns: sub-10-second sessions, no scroll depth, direct API-style requests. Don't filter them out. Count them separately.
This alone usually surfaces the scope of the problem. One client found 23% of their "bot traffic to exclude" was actually AI shopping agents.
Days 4-7: Fix the Obvious Blockers
Three things kill agent transactions on most sites:

Third, auth walls. If your checkout requires account creation before carting, agents abandon. They can't create accounts. Make guest checkout the default path and watch agent completion rates climb.
Days 8-14: Measure the Delta
Here's where it gets satisfying. Re-run your agent traffic analysis. Compare completion rates before and after.
